We are a non-profit that brings a transformative approach to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) work by integrating Emotional Intelligence (EI) and personal and professional identity development into workplace culture transformation.
We believe lasting change begins with equipping people with the tools to navigate challenges and foster genuine connections.
Too often, DEIA efforts fall short of meaningful impact—EIDEIA fills this gap by focusing on emotional competencies that empower teams to create sustainable, inclusive environments where everyone thrives.

Our Name
​Eideia means idea in Mirandese, an endangered language in Miranda do Douro, Portugal. The people who speak this language remain at the margins of the dominant culture. They desire to bring, as bell hooks said, the “margin to center.”​ So do we.
As an Institute, we research and test ideas. We also hope to institute a new system of belonging for individuals and organizations.​
