Participating in DEIA work stirs up feelings for everyone. Managing those feelings requires good psycho-social functioning. That can be challenging in today's world. 

 

Eideia means idea in Mirandese, an endangered language in Miranda do Douro, Portugal. The people who speak this language remain at the margins of the dominant culture. They desire to bring, as bell hooks said, the “margin to center.”​ So do we.

 

As an Institute, we research and test ideas. We also hope to institute a new system of belonging for individuals and organizations.​
